“Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone’s hand is the beginning of a journey.
At other times, it is allowing another to take yours.”
Dear Family & Friends,
By now, we are all aware of the growing changes and effects of COVID-19. As we continue to pay attend to the development of this pandemic, I am sure we are all experiencing feelings of concern, uncertainty, and a range of other emotions. We all- the POP Art family and the world in general – are in foreign territory as we continue to learn more about the prevention and containment of this virus, it is extremely important that we remain calm, show solidarity and stand by each other in this difficult time.
To protect you and your families, our business, and the communities we live and work in, earlier today we announced that all of our business pursuit will be remote. This means that we will be offering online classes and tutorials for those who are interested, and our staff will be working from home. POP Art is dedicated to social responsibility and as such, we would be honoring the cause by preventing the virus spreading further while honoring our responsibility to our patrons and stakeholders.
We are also doing everything we can to maintain a clean environment for when classes resume.
As human beings, it is our responsibility to support, connect, and be there for each other. Social distancing is a great way to be responsibility but it does not mean that we cannot connect and empower each other in other ways. Some families are struggling emotionally, physically, and financially. As such, stay in touch with each other, offer support, be a listening ear, show care, compassion, and empathy. We all may have different beliefs about what is currently happening. Nonetheless, be kind to one another. It is a time to come together, as ironic as it may sound.
Please know, that POP Art Academy & Management extends itself to you all and we are here to offers the support you need. As such, I will be using my clinical training to offer telemedicine consultation to those in need, pro bono.
Best Regards & Stay Safe,
Teisha P. Brown, NCC, LPC
